Debris is gone...

Everyday, when we would leave the house, or look outside or do anything outside for that matter, the first thing you notice is our huge debris pile from Hurricane Gustav. A sad, torturing reminder that he was here and did so much damage to homes and lives in our area. Thankfully, today, the debris trucks were out in full force. I heard yesterday that our Parish finally agreed on a proposal from a company to conduct the cleanup, but I wasn't holding my breath. It must have been true......they picked up our street today and I was able to cut the grass and start to get our yard back to normal!
